Long Lost Keepsake To many people this 1940's Ford may just look like another old, rundown Ford, nothing special at all. However, this car has a very unusual and fascinating story. The current owner, Tommy Brooks, tells me that the previous owner, owned this car for nearly 50 years. He took care of it like it was his baby, washed it, cleaned it, and even swapped in a 56' Oldsmobile motor in it. He lived in a small house in Riverside, California, with his mother and father until the day they died, and kept the car all those years. He never left his parents home, he never married, and he never had any children. So, when he passed away the car was given to the only living family member left that was remotely close to him: his nephew. Sadly, his nephew did not have any interest for the car and soon after acquiring the car, put it up for sale on Craigslist. Fortunately, Tommy purchased the car, and now looks after it just like the previous owner did, all those years ago...
